Land in Paro and begin your journey with a scenic drive to Thimphu. Enroute, visit Tachog Lhakhang and a local weaving center. In Thimphu, explore Tashichhoe Dzong, Bhutan’s majestic seat of government and religion.

Discover Thimphu’s cultural highlights: Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, the Takin Preserve, Green Weaving Center, and optionally visit the lively Kaja Throm or Craft Bazaar for local art, textiles, and produce.

Cross Dochula Pass, home to the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, offering panoramic Himalayan views. Arrive in the pristine Phobjikha Valley, the winter haven of black-necked cranes. Visit the crane center and enjoy an optional nature walk.

Visit Gangtey Monastery before continuing to the historic valley of Punakha. See Chimi Lhakhang (fertility temple), the iconic Punakha Dzong, and enjoy views of Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten and Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge.

Drive back to Paro. Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and explore the CSI Market, which showcases locally crafted products and Bhutanese heritage inside a traditional house.

Hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery perched dramatically on a cliffside. Alternatively, view it from the base and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong, or the Namgay Artisanal Brewery for a tasting session.

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight, carrying memories of Bhutan’s spiritual depth and natural beauty.
